Toenail Fungus

When toenails are infected with fungus, the nails become thickened and luster-less and debris can accumulate under the tip of the nail. The fungal nail can become brittle and may separate from the flesh of the toe.

The fungus may start as a painful red swelling that causes pus to develop or the fungus may cause white or yellow spotting on the nail.
